Keratoconus Design and Material

Keratoconus is a range of rigid gas permeable lenses which combines the latest material and manufacturing technology with established design and a custom lens facility to provide the practitioner with unsurpassed choice. Keratoconus lenses are intended to be used as prescription lenses based on a trial fitting.

Lens Design and Material

Keratoconus has been designed to produce a balanced periphery with optimum edge lift throughout the range of parameters.The use of high precision manufacturing methods enables a 0.07mm interval to be used for the back optic zone radius. This has the benefit of reducing the range of lenses required for diagnostic evaluation.
